Q: I already have my own phone. Can I activate it with your service?

A: Unfortunately we do not support "Bring your own device" Only phones sold directly from mingo Wireless will work on our system.

Q: What features come with my prepaid service?

A: All mingo Wireless activated phones provide free Voicemail, Caller ID, Call Waiting, and Three Way Calling.

Q: How much extra does 411 directory assistance, text messaging, and picture mail cost?

A: 411 directory assistance is billed at $1.49. Texts are billed at $0.05 per text. Picture messaging is billed at $0.15 per message + data charges.

Q: Can I use mingo for international calling? How much extra does international calls and international text cost?

A: Customers can dial ( *INT + Talk/Send ) to receive the lowest international rate. International calls rates are ($0.10 min + international destination cost). There are no extra charges for international texting.

Q: Will I ever have a balance due on my account?

A: As a courtesy, we will allow you to finish your last call even if you run out of available minutes on your account. If you do happen to have overage minutes they will be billed to your account. Any balance that is due will be deducted from your next refill card after you complete your next replenishment.

Q: What method of payment does mingo Wireless accept?

A: We accept all major credit cards including VISA, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, and PayPal.

Q: What happens if I do not add a new refill or my balance remains zero?

A: You must maintain a positive Flex balance on your account or your phone will be suspended. If your phone is suspended for 30 days past your normal Flex expire date, your phone will be deactivated and your phone number will be lost forever.

Q: If I activate with mingo Wireless can I keep my current cell phone number?

A: Yes! We can transfer your current cell phone number from any wireless service provider to mingo Wireless service. To transfer your existing phone number, call us at 866-GO-MINGO for more details.

Q: What is your warranty/return policy on phone purchases?

A: We offer a 100% satisfaction guarantee on all phones. All phones and accessories comes with a 30 day warranty from the purchase date. (Any used starter airtime minutes will be deducted from refund balance)

Q: What is the refund policy on refill airtimeĀ purchases?

A: Unfortunately, once minutes are added to your mingo Wireless account we will not be able to provide a refund.
